How can you help someone who is emotionally abusive get help and save a marriage?
My wife of five years is emotionally abusive toward me. I do not think that she realizes it but she is. She all of a sudden wants a divorce because I make her feel empty inside. I know she loves me and I love her, but I don’t know how to talk to her about getting help.

suggest she goes to counseling before she gives up on your marriage
I would say that you should talk to her to about going to talk to a counsler together and just be honest, it is one thing to say you will go to see a counsler and another to actually go. It sounds like you both really need to go and start finding out how each of you really feel. and let the one you love know how you feel, but in the right way cause I am sure things are touchy at this point.
you go for counseling, work on yourself and ask the therapist how to ope with some one like this and maybe she will realize that she does need to help and get it
Sorry to inform you that your wife is cheating on you and she is doing things for you to leave, so she can have her man. It’s not anything dealing with you personally, but she thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
sometimes people are like that cause they dont love themselves and are hurting inside because of past hurts and abuse they may have suffered. When they are like that they tend to take it out on the ones that love them the most without realizing the harm it is doing. She probably has low self esteem and wants u to feel the hole in her heart but of course u cant, she has to deal with the issues she has on her own. U can stand by her side and encourage her though.
I had a friend who had similair problems and she stumbled upon a website that she said helped her tremendously and claims it was the main reason that her marriage is better now than it ever has been.
