me and my boyfriend been going out for like two months and some weeks and i love him and all he understands me more than anyone i’ve met but my ex keeps trying to butt in and im already over him and i dont see myself getting back with him ever again.But i do want to remain friends because thats what we were before and he gives great advice but sometimes its annoying!!!1and he keeps warning me about certain guys .i know he’s looking out for me but dont you think i could look out for myself

If he’s acting that way then you can’t be friends with him. Tell him that you’re not getting back with him so to please stop trying. You can get good advice on stuff from your girlfriends. Yes, you can look out for yourself and you don’t need advice from him, your break-up should have been a message to him saying "I don’t need you in my life!" Tell him to back off.
