What the best thing to do to yet your money back from your ex?
My girlfriend lent money to her ex-boyfriend when they were together, this because she thought they would be together forever. (a little bit stupid, but it’s already happened..)
Now here ex tells her every time he doesn’t have the money. It’s already 4 year ago and she didn’t saw a dime.
Can she do something about it or was it just stupid and she have to live with the fact that her money in gone. She needs the money and she has to pay interest to the bank because of this.

Get her to send an e-mail asking about the money and when to expect it back. Hopefully he will confirm in the e-mail response that he does owe that amount and there you have the proof and he can’t deny it if you go to court about it.

Unless they have a written contract that has him saying he’ll pay it back, she’s out of luck unfortunately.
Tell her to take his ass to civil court and sue him.
kick his azz or have someone kick it for you or if she has proof she can take him to small claims court she doesn’t need a lawyer or anything
sue him. Hopeful you have either a audio or writing that says you lent him the money. If you do then you should be fine.
she can take him to court but if he denies it then she bears the burden of proving that he owes it to her (easiest way is with a promissory note which I assume she doesn’t have)
