How do I get my husband to fall in love with me again?
My spouse and I have been separated for a few days and my son and I will be flying to go live with my parents for awhile. My spouse fell out of love with me and he refuses to work on our marriage. He says I can come home anytime I want and he’ll try and make an effort but he can’t guarantee he’ll love me again. I still love him with all my heart and sad and heartbroken. I’ve tried over the years to communicate with him but he has trouble communicating with me and he snaps at me and he has anger issues. I’ve made more of an effort to save my marriage than he has. I’m having trouble keeping myself busy and moving on to get over this emotional pain. It’s very hard.
I know you’re going to say to get counseling. I already know that. I just want opinions here first.

um i really dont think love is the story here what the hell did you ever see in this person anyway let alone give him sex and have a child,, wow..
i think he has found someone else since he is so convinced it will not work out. Just ask him. if he doesn’t have someone else then you need to write a list of pros and cons. on one side all the good things about the marriage, on the other, all of the bad things. whichever one has the most, will tell you if your marriage is worth saving.
He does seem to have an anger problem, so to try and avoid it, ask him to do the talking. let him express how he feels and why it can’t work out, with no interruptions. if he says he has actually fallen out of love, then maybe you do need counseling to learn how to let go.

i have been there i didnt feel that way for my husband and when i did he didnt.we have kids that makes it hard.i know you already know to go to marriage counsling sounds like he needs to go to counsling alone at first to figure out why he is so angry and whats holding him back.my husband did that then we started marriage counsling we got a babysitter go on dates and we are pretty happy.it can work..the question for you is though do you have it in you to keep trying and putting yourslef through this pain with him?

The one thing I can tell u is, if u love him as much as u say u do to try this last time and if it doesnt work out then u can move on…then u really know that u did tryed and you will never look back and have that though that we all have "WHAT IF"
If he isn’t gonna try, than there is no hope because things won’t change without any effort.
So basically, you need to decide if you’re ok being with a man who doesn’t care. Either that or get mad back and tell him to go to H***.
He’ll be back if he don’t find that free pussy he’s expecting to get.
I am really heartbroken when I read this, because I’ve seen more than enough marriages fall apart. You can only do so much to save your marriage, but if he makes no effort at all, what more can you do? You can’t force him to try, and you can’t force him to love you again. It sounds like he’s putting all the stress on you, and that’s not right at all. For a marriage to work, it requires hard work from BOTH sides.
