How do I fall in love with my husband again, and get him more involved?
I feel like he doesn’t need the closeness that I want. I feel like him providing for our family and sex are the only ways he shows me love. I want a partner, trust, communication, and to enjoy each other again! He seems happy (except for when I complain), but I’m not happy at all. He’s hurt me and hidden things from me, but hasn’t cheated. Sometimes I feel like I don’t know him, or that he wants to appear like he’s what I need. Whenever I’m not around (he travels once in a great while for work) he just sits around and plays video games, drinks (only when I’m not around) and watches trashy stupid movies (and sometimes porn).

You have to find a way to get through to him. Just sit him down and say "I am really worried about how we’ve grown apart and I think we should talk about it". Get him to open up. Maybe he is feeling the same way. Maybe you need to go away together for a weekend and get that spark back. Ask him to go to marriage counseling if all else fails. But don’t give up. If he sees you are really worried about things maybe he will find ways to reassure you.

you guys need some bonding time to rekindle your marriage. Sometimes people get so caught up in everyday life they forget what really makes them happy. Go out and get a cute makeover and take a small vacation. Even for one night. Like dinner and a movie or a go watch a concert that he would like then end the night in a hot tub at nice hotel. Don’t give him all the details, hold the eliment of suprise. Do it as a surprise for him just make sure he has his night and next day open so there won’t be any interruptions from work or anything.
