Has this ever happened to you? About marriage?
Hi.
I’m an 18 year old teenager living away from my mothercountry.
I am involved in a church organisation and we hold international meets, once every few years or so.
Last year, there was this HUGE international meet in America where a thousands of our members gathered for a conference. I went there too.
And I met this girl there while practising for a singing performance. She held up the lyrics for me so I thanked her. After that I saw her around and didn’t talk to her anymore.
But on the last day of the pragramme, when everything was over and done, I saw her again when she was going away in her car and I waved. Lo and behold, she waved back ! – she looked pretty. Well, lo and behold again, we met up co-incidentally on a social networking site and since then, we’ve been messaging each other on and off and we try to keep in touch besides our busy lives.
Thing is…….just a few months ago, i’ve been having this odd feeling about her.
I don’t really like pre-marital relationships, so I usually tend to think about my marriage and my wife. And whenever I think of my wife, the things I’d like to do with her, the roadtrips I’d like to go on with, the face I’d like to see beside me when I’m driving………..SHE POPS UP!
Its like……..whenever I picture or imagine my wife…..She is the one.
Odd. Really odd. I really want to marry her and she ain’t bad looking either. (Shared pictures sometimes).
BUt I’m only 18! And its like………a decision in my mind, a dream that i’m sure I WANT to make a reality, that I’ll marry her someday.
She lives in US of A and I live someplace else. So I plan to go to her place after a few years (after completeing my education and gettin a good job that is) and see if this dream, if this odd assurance is a real thing or not. My mom agrees. I love my mom. lol.
My question is. Did that ever happen to you?
Seeing a person, knowing them just a bit and immediately feeling in your heart, the determination to marry that person?
No lust involved.Nothing else involved.
Just looked at that person and everything clicks into place?
I’ve heard that guys usually have that feeling.
I really want some advice cus I’m really unsure if this is normal. It just doest seem normal to me!
Do you think what I’m experiencing is real?
Do you think such stories do come true?

I want to marry her.
Sheesh. I’m frikkin 18. hahaha.

ps: No, i don’t think she’s REALLY INTO me, but I think we’re on a comfy, friendly, even keel.

I had that instant feeling once, but t turned into nothing. Funnily enough I couldn’t stand my husband when I met him, He annoyed the sh*t out of me lol Now I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
Maybe its real, maybe its not. Only time will tell. Its a nice feeling though so enjoy it, go along for the ride and see where it takes you. You have nothing to lose and whatever the outcome, it will be an experience. Wish you the best of luck.
