After being apart from husband for year is it possible to fall in love with him again after moving on?
After a year of seperation and my husband swearing he is a better man and knows he took us for granted. Can I fall in love with him again after being apart this long and seeing other people. Our divorce should have been final months ago but seems like it for some reason kept being pushed back not by us but by stupid silly reasons from the courts mishaps or perhaps it wasn’t really meant to be. I feel like if he has changed I should give him another chance not only because of him but our children. Can someone shed any light to this or maybe have they had this happen to them?

I’ve heard it said "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
Strangely enough, yes. It has happened twice in our family. But it ended in divorce both times–the second time around.
it is definetly possible to fall in love again!!
Anything is possible. But is it probable? What do you think? What do you think it takes for someone to change their behavior patterns. You have no idea…
I have never been married but maybe you should give him another go if you think he has changed, it all depends why you broke up in the first place and yes it would be better for your children but never forget a leopard never changes his spots
did you really move on? hes your husband and even if you do re-marry…he will always tug on some of your heart strings. it sounds like his actions motivated you to call it quits and not because you stopped caring about him. but has he really changed? don’t jump back in just to be hurt again. what about a marriage counselor? or taking things really slow. start dating him again, invite him over to the house for dinner and a movie with the kids. but keep in mind that before you take him back you need to have NO DOUBT that this is a good thing. otherwise your kids will start to blame you, and resent you. let them in on your choices and why dad is visiting the house but unless your going to do it, don’t tell them you MIGHT be getting back together. trust your intuition.
I believe when a person truly falls in love and even if they later have problems it is impossible for them to ever fall out of their love because something must have been there or they would have never fallen in love to begin with.
Sometimes fate dictates what we need. When God is there, and God is, then anything is possible. Quite naturally, one who is in love never loses that love. That is why the feeling still resides within your heart. YOU and your children deserve the love that you are due. You must read Psalm 35 (Plead My Cause) and read Psalm 4 for (Safety and Protection). Put God at the helm and he will have jurisdiction over your life. Peace.
LISTEN TO THIS: VERY IMPORTANT… Whether he has changed is not the issue. Assume he has not changed- are you willing to give your freedom up to be bound to him as he is? You have to love him for who he is, not who you wish he were. And people don’t typically change very much, assuming he is older than 18, and if he’s not you shouldn’t be marrying him anyway. It is better for you AND your kids that you be alone than with the wrong man.
NOT AT ALL FOR ME I NEVER GO BACK TO THE PAST I JUST MOVE ON.
if you love him and he is a better person …yes
A good marriage is an intimate and loving relationship which gives both partners security, friendship, companionship, support, comfort, and deep love that penetrates every aspect of life. None of this can be achieved without work and sacrifice.
Marriage may be compared to a plant that requires daily nurture, daily attention, daily care and cultivation. It will not develop of its own accord; only as effort and will are exerted will it grow and mature. For a marriage to succeed, both husband and wife must be committed to its success. They must build an enduring love relationship that is centered in the heart of their consciousness. Their relationship must be nurtured with the water of loyalty and love.
Good Luck
