Specifically asked my wife not to contact an old crush but then one day she did behind my back (by email) which I only happened to find out about by chance (she left her computer on with the email list on display). Confronted her straight away. She seemed very sorry for what she had done. (Or felt stupid for getting caught). In the early days (before marriage) she kept a secret which I also only found out about by chance. It was also about the guy she had a crush on). At that time I was really really hurt, hence I did not want her to keep any kind of contact with the crush.Now, having done what she has done, I am struggling to trust her, to feel the love I once felt for her which is causing all sorts of havoc with my state of mind. Why would she risk..put in jeopardy what we have?!?(four children, a house).I hate my life being like this. We both work, which is an easy excuse for spending less time with each other..or even sleeping together. I don\’t… no,…we both now struggle to be intimate with each other….Our past holds us together but it is also what keeps us apart..I wonder is this all there is left.

Yes she can love you again, and actually probably never stopped loving you durng her mental affair. I actuall had a physical affair, and never stopped loving my husband. That was 3 years ago and love my husband so much, still.
