How long did it take you to get over your ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend?
It’s been almost 2 years for me now, and I’m still not over him.
I still feel like I’m physically in pain everytime he isn’t around and his smile still lights up my day.
How long did it take you to get over him/her?

It all depends on how strong the relationship was. From the sounds of it, it seems like you must have really cared about him. It’s going to be hard but you have to move on if things aren’t working out. If it is meant to be you guys will be together in the end. For me, after I got out of a 3 year relationship it took me about a year for the pain to stop but I don’t think you can ever fully get over someone you love or loved, you just learn to move on with the pain and hope it fades in time. I’m sorry about what you’re going through. Best of luck. <3

you dont get over it til u find someone else and it really sux if you see them every day and they talk to your friends in front of you ooooooohh i hate when sh does that

I havn’t had any great-relationships, just the one boyfriend… that I dated twice.

It took me 2 days to get over my ex.
He was such a jerk.
You are going to have a hard time to get over this guy until you meet someone else. It has been 2 years now so don’t you think it’s time for you to try to meet someone else. It’s not doing you any good if you still have feelings for this guy. And you really need to move on. You are wasting your time by just thinking about him. And no matter what happened with that relationship does not mean that it’s going to happen in the next relationship that you’re in.
We went out for four months, and we broke up in November ’08. I was the heartbreaker this time. It took me until….last week to even be able to talk to him. It was tough.
took me 4 days to get over my ex and moved on to another relationship on day 5 =P
My first boyfriend of 5 months… about a year.
My second boyfriend of 7 months… about 4 months, but we are friendly again. Perhaps things will work out this time around. Who knows?
it never took that long to get over my boyfriends, i suppose i wasn’t in love as i though i was. it is taking me ages to get over my best friends though. i messed up and we fell out and it hurts still even though it was last year:(
One of my boyfriends i had from the time i was 13 till i was 15, and we were very close, i loved him deeply but then i broke up with him because i felt he didn’t treat me as right as i wanted him too but after i did i missed him and half of me wanted to get back together with him, I’m over him now because i got another boyfriend whom i fell in love with and sadly he died just acouple of months ago. But i am pregnant with his child so he left me something.
I;m NOT over him and i dont know how long its gonna take.

I know exactly what you mean… but its been about 2 months.. and i still cry and miss him so much. But we just starting to talk again. =). Im sorry.
My boyfriend and I dated for 11 months and then suddenly he dumped me for this other girl, he promised me that he didn’t cheat on me and that he just didn’t love me anymore. He told me that he still wanted to be really great friends but I just couldn’t take being near him when all he does is think and talk about this other girl. So I stopped talking to him for about 2 months and I started really missing him and I got really confused because I couldn’t be near him but I couldn’t be away from him. I still think about him all the time and I would give anything to be in his arms again. He still says that he wants to be friends but he never seems to put any effort into our friendship. I’m so confused and I miss him so much
