how long does it usually take to get over your ex?
my ex of two years broke up with me. Im only 18, but i felt like she was the one for me. i really love her. Its been a month and it doesnt feel like ive made any progress. Im really depressed and ive tried everything. How long does it take to get over someone that you were in love with?

Dude you never really truly get over someone that you have cared about for that long, all you can really do is take it for what its worth and move on. Finding someone else does help alot, but you have to give yourself a little time. I think a month is long enough, you definetly should get back out there man, its really the only thing thats gonna make you really forget about your ex
You’re 18. You’re probably finishing high school or starting college. Trust me, plenty of other fish in the sea. Just live your live and decide who you are and where you’re going in life before you choose "the one." It’ll probably take you a few more months to get over her since it was a long relationship, but like most high school sweethearts, it’s just a teenage fling. Once you realize that you need to move on and start your life as a young adult, you’ll realize that many new, exciting experiences await you. Good luck.
Probably there is no mentioned time for it but it depends…how u both communicate to each other and resolve the matter.
