Did you fall in love all over again on your wedding day?
Me and my husband got married last Saturday, when we were saying our vows I felt butterflies again. And on our honeymoon I felt like we did when we were first going out 4 and a half years ago.
Did you feel this way as well on your wedding day or night?

To this day my husband gives me butterflies.
First of all, congratulations.
My wedding day was, hands downs, the best day of my life. From the first day I met my wife, there has been an intensity between us that I cannot even explain. We were together for nine months before we wed, and on the day of my wedding, my whole life felt complete. To have someone accept my past and to be cherished and loved me for who I am, the most realest thing I have ever know.
…and then some.
I have never NOT felt that in over five years…so far!
My wedding day was my assurance that this was the person that i REALLY loved. When i was taking my vows all i could think of was how great it would be to be old with this man and know that we have spend forever making our love grow like a rose bud waiting for spring.
Congratulations on the wedding!
I’m not married yet, (not sure why I’m even in this section), but I have a story to share with you –
My grandparents have been married for 58 years. They were first married by papers, and then on their 50th anniversary, they decided to get married with a church ceremony and had the most beautiful wedding I had ever been to – Seriously, I had never even seen young people throw such a beautiful wedding ceremony/reception. They even did the whole "first dance" and bouquet throwing thing.
At 50 years, both of them stood up at the alter with tears in their eyes as they exchanged their vows, and before my grandmother walked down the aisle, my grandpa was a nervous wreck – like if he had been getting married for the very first time.
I am very blessed that they are still alive, going strong, and still the biggest rolemodels in my life. And when I asked my grandma how they keep that feeling going she says "it never goes away".
I wish everyone could have a marriage like that, the world would be such a beautiful place.
Enjoy your marriage, and many blessings!
