How many of you have gotten back together with your ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend and it has lasted?
How long were you guys apart, and how did you guys make it work out the second time? What do you think is the best way to reconnect if both of you haven’t talked in the longest time and the other person has moved on and has a new girlfriend/boyfriend. I’m trying to figure out the best way to get back into her life, if she doesn’t pick up the phone should I try writing a letter to her? I just don’t want to be regretting things and asking "what if?" but don’t want to look desperate at the same time. Thanks for your help everyone.

Apart about a week, got together for about a month, and it was a mistake.
I dated a guy for two months, we broke up for two months and got back together for ten months. We just started texting each other and talking at school and we realized that we missed each other. Just try whatever gets her to answer you. It’s better than wondering "what if" but if she doesn’t like you and isn’t interested anymore, then don’t keep pushing it.
Apart for a day and got back together for a week. Now we’re not together anymore. It’s been a month. But I don’t think I want his punk azz anymore.
Apart for two days and when we did get back together,things got uglier. If at first it doesn’t feel right,believe me,it just isn’t,take it as a sign from God and move on.
Yes, I’m actually friends with most of my exes, and my boyfriend is always breaking up with me but I hang in there and he comes around. We are quite happy at the moment. For you I think your focus should be on just reconnecting with her and not having any expectations of rekindling your once long gone romance because then you’ll only set yourself up for disappointment. If she responds to you favorably and wants your company again take it slow this time around. Oh and good luck.
