What are the reasons a man would go back to an ex-wife he chose to divorce and even after supposedly falling in love with another girl?

A lot of times people allow life and stress to change how they see someone that they were once deeply in love with. Sometimes people get so bogged down in their lives that they include someone that loves them in with all of the problems that they deal with.
You may think the grass is greener only in your new-found freedom to realize that you miss what you had. A man can take a good woman for granted only to discover that he had it pretty good.
After a messy break up men often try to immediately fill that void and move right on to something with someone else… it usually does not work. Men are a lot like women.. Love is either something that they fall in and out of with ease, or they are the sort that never let’s go of that love.
Sometimes it takes distance and some time to realize what you had… lots of people, men and women, return to each other once the smoke settles.
Stupidity
There’s a love and comfort level with your wife that was never there with someone else. There’s a huge percentage of people that remarry their first spouse because the love is deeper and the problems are manageable.
And if the second girl was someone he had an affair with, the spice is gone when the challenge is gone. Not always, but in alot of relationships.
Money, Love, Kids, Friendship, Fickle?
Does he have children with her? Could it be because of them they are both willing to work at their marriage?
Maybe the time apart from each other made them both realize they love each other and can’t live with out each other.
Either way someone gets hurt which sux.
He was and is still in love with the first wife and is not being honest with the girlfriend. He is obviously telling her that he is in love with her however this must not be the case if he went back to the x wife. He is however, lacking communication skills, honesty and integrity. If he had all of those qualities he would have been honest with self as well as the girlfriend and even though it would be painful to hear, honestly is always best and enables the other individual to move forward a bit easier.
Why don’t you ask him. Some reasons could be
familiarity
comfort level
sex
Who knows? Ask him.
My guess is he probably loves her and can’t forget about the history they shared.
most of the time its because the new relationship did not work out the way he planned it to and he doesn’t want to be alone. my ex tried to make contact with me about a year ago and later i heard from an old neighbor that him and the home wrecker were fighting. i don’t believe that they suddenly realize they made a mistake, or that they loved the one they left, i think its just because they suddenly find themselves alone and men don’t like it alone.
Only the person going back to the relationship can answer that, but my guess would be love, and they realized they made a mistake.
Well the ex-wife would be a fool to even consider taking his azzz back!!
they fell in love for a reason in the beginning, maybe they get along much better living apart from each other.
He just realizes the grass isn’t any greener on the other side plus its a tidier arrangement if kids are involved. The question is are you ready to take him back?
