Can you help me? Bible, God, Jesus, Recarnation, Baptizism, etc?
I’m just a teenager girl, 15, that does not go to church, but believes in god, and jesus. I know things about them, but does not know enough like i should. I know like millions of stuff about the world. Atheist, Wicca, Palmistry, Recarnation, Astrology, The Big Bang, Ghosts, Gardian Angels, Spirits, The Dead, Aliens, Sex, Love, Marriage….yeah…a lot of stuff like that.
but, what a girl should do if there is a lot of stuff to believe in. I’m just a curious girl who wants to know the REAL truth about everything.
….sooooo…i had this talk with my uncle. He says the only way to be saved and go to heaven is to be baptizied and accept the lord in your life.
i believe in god, that jesus had died because of our sins, i’m very good, (of course i’ve have sinned), and…well…i’m not baptized.
he said if you’re not baptized, you’re just a wondering soul that will not go to the kingdom of the lord.
but some said that you don’t have to get baptized in water….etc.
they said that baptizism has many definitions.
…i don’t know…
…all i know is that i want to live life happy, have love, and go to heaven.
i’ve never read the bible. maybe just a few sentences, but that’s all.
does the bible have the truth??
some say that the bible is fake….
don’t know.
can you give me all the information you know just to help me?
a curious 15 year old????
please!!!
well….my uncle does think he knows everything….
just to let you know.
he’s the one who made me so confused, to ask this question!!!

I am SOOOO glad that you want to know the REAL TRUTH!!
Here is truth…..
1. All scripture is given by inspiration of God. 2 Tim. 3:16
2. God’s Word is truth. John 17:17
3. If you want to know God’s will you will know which things
are true. John 7:17
4. The way you will know is that the Holy Spirit will guide you
into the truth. John 16:13,14 (Always pray before you read
the Bible that the Holy Spirit will be with you and teach you
the truth.)
5) The Bible says if you believe and are baptized you will be
saved. Mark 16:16
6) Jesus said that you need to be born of water and the Spirit
to enter the kingdom of heaven. John 3:5
7) Jesus is our example and He was baptized in water…He
came up out of the water which means He was all the way
in it to be baptized. Mark 1:9,10
I will pray for you to read the Bible and learn the truth. I see that you are hungry for it and that is good! Study for yourself.
God will teach you.

There is some truth to what he says.
We all need to go through some changes to know truth and to live truth. It’s not just an intellectual growth. Accepting Jesus into you life allows you to listen to what the Holy Spirit says to you. He is your constant companion that helps you distinguish truth from illusion, which is what evil is based on. This is a life long awakening experience. It brings you into the the Kingdom of Heaven which Jesus said is within you, It’s now as well as after you die. Your life changes so that, as Paul says, you have the mind of Christ. Your egoic mind drops away,
The baptism with water means very little. sometimes rituals bringing us closer to God, but in the scheme of things, living your whole life moment by moment as a child of God is much more meaningful.
well… im catholic (what are you?) but yeah in my religon there are 7 sacraments that we go through like the first one is baptism cause basically without that you can’t go to heaven your soul will wonder the earth or go to limbo (other words pergotory).
And the bible …i believe the bible but on the other hand i wonder myself weather the bible is accurate or not because the bible been passed down and rewritten by man and not every person interprets the samething when they read so im unsure myself ….but if you believe in god and jesus you feel in your heart whats real =D
good luck!
The only way to find real truth is to seek for it yourself. Ask God. All people will do is confuse you more and push you away from it. Believe me. Been there done that. Pray about it. Its not something to ask people of. Everyone has their own opinion.
Hi Jacutiep,
Thanks for this post. keep your faith in God. Don’t lose faith. God loves you and he desires to save you(Revelation 3:20).
Visit your local Seventh-day Adventist Church and ask them for the booklet entitled "Steps to Christ" by Ellen White. They also have it in the youth edition.
Take care and may you continue to grow in God’s grace.
Christian baptism, according to the Bible, is an outward testimony of what has occurred inwardly in a believer’s life. Christian baptism illustrates a believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The Bible declares, “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life” (Romans 6:3-4 NIV). In Christian baptism, the action of being immersed in the water pictures being buried with Christ. The action of coming out of the water pictures Christ’s resurrection.
In Christian baptism, there should be two requirements before a person is baptized: (1) the person being baptized must have trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior, and (2) the person must understand what baptism signifies. If a person knows the Lord Jesus as Savior, understands that Christian baptism is a step of obedience in publicly proclaiming his faith in Christ, and desires to be baptized – then there is no reason to prevent the believer from being baptized. According to the Bible, Christian baptism is simply a step of obedience, a public proclamation of one’s faith in Christ alone for salvation. Christian baptism is important because it is a step of obedience – publicly declaring faith in Christ and commitment to Him, and identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Everyting that is said in the bible is not fake. The bible teaches you the truth all the answers to your questions are in the bible. don’t listen to what some of the people on R&S are telling you some are here just to discourage people and some are here because they really want to help n i am one of those people who really want to help you. But if this helps i recommend that you read the book of mathew it talks about baptizm. If you have any more questions email im here to help not to criticize.
wow! well your uncle was partly right, but i believe that you do not have to be babtized to go to heaven. all you have to do is pray. yes the bible has all the answers that you are looking for. i will be praying for you! if you want to talk reply to this or somthing. also being "good" is not going to get you to heaven.
I recommend you to watch,
‘Religulous’ …. by Bill Maher
Zeitgeist the movie (part 1) …. by Peter Joseph
then you will live Happily Ever After.
trust me
You get salvation when you accept Jesus. Water baptism is your gesture that you’ve accepted Jesus. It also means you’ve made a covenant with God. It’s like a 2 sided contract between you and God, which means if you want God to guide you and live the best possible life, you have to do your part and God will do his part. God will not do anything outside his will which is his word, so bible study is absolutely necessary.
There is no truth whatsoever in the bible. No god, no heaven, nothing.
Live your life without fear of judgement.
