How do I take my ex-husband back to court for full child support?
My ex-husband is only paying for childcare. He makes more money than I do. I don’t want to involve a lawyer but how do I change the child support decree and paperwork?

Umm…with a Lawyer and a Court date.
If you go through social services, they can. The only down fall with that is, they send you the money and it is through a garnishment on his check. I would use an attorney.
was he only supposed to pay daycare.and how long since you’ve been to court .there are laws stating you cant get a review of his wages til after a certain time.and they may not even consider putting front of a judge if he is still making the same amount of money when this started.
Just file with the courts a motion for a remodification to child support hearing and then go to court with whatever evidence you have and tell the Judge why youre there or why he should grant your request. You dont really need an attorney for this. Good luck
Check your state’s website and you should be able to find the forms there. This is something you can fill out yourself, but if he starts to fight it, I would get a lawyer. Generally you will have to fill out a Child Support Affidavit and a Child Support Worksheet. In Maine, if he has the children close to 50% of the time, then a supplemental worksheet goes into effect. So make sure that you are sure you will be gettin gmore from the child support than what the courts would order he pay.
And I would not recommend taking him for back support because he has been paying for childcare – call it even and go from here. It may save some hassle with him.
Good Luck!
