What does it mean when your ex wants to you to meet his new girlfriend?

My ex and I are still pretty close. Just recently he got a new girlfriend. He’s been calling me and telling me that his girlfriend would like to meet me. He said she said she thinks I seem really nice and she would like to get to know me. She also said my ex talks about me alot so she wanted to see what I was like. What does this mean? Should I meet the girlfriend?
