Even if you lose the weight. I think it's interesting that you were working, and taking care of the home and everything else, while he "couldn't" work. And he's on a student visa. I hate to say it, but I think there's a chance that he would have "fallen out of love" with you eventually anyway. Your physical appearance just gave him a convenient excuse. Are you sure that he didn't just marry you so that he could stay in this country? What matters is what is on the inside. I have gained weight too from my thyroid and from medications that I have to be on. My husband loves me just the way I am. You shouldn't have to change yourself for anyone. If your husband doesn't love you just the way you are then tell him to take a hike back to Belgium. I wouldn’t want my husband anymore if he talked to me that way.
