How to fix a broken psp charger (the charger is broken, not the psp)?
Here’s the whole story, I was playing GTA vice city stories while charging my psp (the power indicator is colored orange, so that means it’s charging). Then after a hour of playing my psp charging, I noticed that it stopped charging (the battery icon of my psp is 2 bars). then I plugged the charger again but it won’t charge. Can anyone help me tell what happened or how to fix it. (About my PSP: psp 2000, deep red with kratos silkscreen at the back of it, version 3.60 or something…)

i can help u u need a new charger see the point of charging the cable u need usb cable to charge also by the way and go to youtube and search my new video search ….. how to make usb charger simple …… that video but follow the steps carefully remember cautiously ok but the only problem is that you need to plug it into your computer to charge it a use might work to if you have it.

Check the Wires inside your charger BUT! You Need To Crack/Force the case of the charger open if you see the wires that connecting the voltage then you need to repair it your self or return it to the sony corp. if you do have a recipt or something they will give you a free charger note the last one that you need to return it is that i only see in the net but the other words that i gave is mine ok because i have the same problem.

You can go to a repair shop if you have that trend in you country. I prefer not to play while charging, but that is your choice. Charging your battery at the same time “discharging” because you’re playing, that makes your battery go crazy. It is more safe if you charge them with power off.

Try open the psp connecting end of the bad USB charger with a sharp object. It is likely one or more of the four connecting wires have disconnected. Solder or tape them carefully in the order, RED and Green(TOP SIDE), and BLACK and WHITE(BOTTOM SIDE). Close the connector’s case and tape it tight.
