Who do I contact to find out if my ex-husband was indeed sent back to Iraq?
He had been medically discharged and the last time I received word from him he said he was going back overseas. I thought once you were medically discharged you couldnt go back into service. He had been told that he had to push our divorce through in order to go back…I dont know how much of this is true and what is a lie….he said hes going back in June.
My ex and I have no contact so I dont know whats going on. He had wanted to discuss our divorce but refuses to answer my calls. Its like he just disappeared. Any suggestions?
Especially if I dont know what unit he’s in.

This is hard to say.
I do know that the army and marines both are recalling many people. My man is one of them. He has an injury as well. He has called me and told me that at the marine mobilization center where he is, that they are randomly activating marines based on social security number. Because of this luck of the draw thing, there are marines there that are missing limbs. obviously they will not be going to war…
so, he very well may be recalled.
Once medically dishcharged, you can’t go back in, unless you get a clearance and reenlist and go back through basic training, which takes a long time.
Also, it’s crap about the divorce. The military wouldn’t care one way or the other.
He’s lying.
Wow sweetie, I know what its like to have someone overseas not talk to you. Are you still getting money from him? IF NOT. You can go to his higher ups and get him in trouble.
well once you are medically discharged it is very differcult to go back into the military unless he gets a waiver and its depends on his code on his DD14 (i think that iwhat its called). So he may be telling you the truth or he could be bare face lying who knows. Maybe try and contact his family members to see if they know if he had gone back in. Get hold of his family like i suggested before maybe they can shed some light on way the man does not want to talk to you about the divorce.
Well first off if he has gotten out on a medical then the chances of him getting back in are pretty small. Like really small. As for the divorce the military could care less.
