I have PCOS and my husband and I want to get pregnant with as little medical help as possible?
My husband and I have been trying for a little over a year to get pregnant. I know that having Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome will surely make this very difficult, but we really want to have a baby. We would like to have it without all of those expensive medical procedures. So I am asking, does anyone have any advice for me or know of any "tricks" or things to help us out or things to heighten fertility. I would really appreciate all the help I could get!

That other advice is horrible. Nothing compares to carrying your own child. My DH and I just conceived our PCOS baby naturally. Have you tried Soy Isolavones? It’s considered the natural chlomid, you would take it just CD 3-7,4-8, or 5-9 and take 2 pills (80mgs). Are you making sure to check your BBT and cervical position/mucus. Fertilityfriend is a great site to use for that. And have fun! Don’t forget how much fun making a baby is. I forgot that somewhere along the way and when I finally just let it happen, it happened. Didn’t think I would ever be one of those gals. But it works.
Make sure you’re both taking a multivitamin. It’s not necessary to take prenatals until you are pregnant. Just make sure to take a multivitamin (like Women’s One A Day) that has 400mg of folic acid in it. Lower your caffeine intake. Eat a balances healthy diet. Start a mild exercise regiment. cut out alcohol and tobacco.
Baby dust!!!!
Has your husband had his swimmers tested to make sure that it’s not just you? That would be a good idea.
Have you considered having someone else carry the baby for you?…My brain is drawing a blank right now, so I can’t remember what the actual word is… When I was in high school my counselour and her husband did that and now they have a healthy baby girl. You shouldn’t put your health at risk for something that has a 50- 50 chance…. Just my opinion.
