is it too fast if your bf dates with you after break up with his ex for 34 days? they’ve been dated for almost 2 years.
we’ve been together for several months now, and i just knew that.
he said he’s serious about us now. we’re thinking about getting married in the future.
is it possible for guys move on so quickly or he’s just not serious with me?

It’s different for every guy. Also guys don’t get as emotionally attatched as us girls do so it’s easier for them to move on in life. Now if this girl was more serious then he would have taken more time to recover. Just because they dated two years doesn’t mean that deep down he loved her enough to get that extremely attatched. Also if they were starting to tear apart for a while then his emotions were probably prepaired for the break up.
As for getting married, like you said your looking to do so in the future. This is good for it takes time to ensure that you want to be together ’till death do us apart’. Just take it easy, don’t jump into things fast, think it through and make sure ready before doing anything extreme. Hope this helps!
As an elder lady he is using you as a rebound and that is not respectful. what if he goes back with her and you are hurt? As a mother I would advise my daughter to not even date him. He is a player and to see you hurt makes a mom cry and dads and brothers want to kick his rear. Don’t set youself up for that pain. if 6 months go by and he is still being nice and not seeing that girl again maybe an innocent date like dinner with the family because we can see what you may not be able to see. If he can move on so quick he will do the same to you! I am an elder lady but mot innocent and have been in your shoes in my younger days. I didn’t wait for my uncles to teach him a lesson because I have thrown many a shoe at dumbos. Darn those shoes were expensive, but the bruises were worth it because they blamed them on guy fights, you can tell the difference when a shoe hits there stupid noggin!
