How to help friend cope with break up?
My best friend has just had a really messy break-up with a guy she had only just started going out with, but has liked and been friends with for a while. It came out that he actually has a girlfriend who lives in another country and he only wanted to use my friend for sex. She really liked him and thought he liked her and so is really hurt. She hasn’t been sleeping and is unable to keep any food down. I’m really worried about her so any advice would be appreciated.

Listen to her if she wants to talk, show up with food if she hasn’t eaten. Drag her out of the house if she hasn’t left, do what ever it takes to bring a spark back to her life. It sounds to me that she is slipping into a depression, which is not uncommon. She can up-lift herself without a doctors care if she is a strong willed person, but it takes time. If you notice that weeks or months have gone by and your friend still has all of these symptoms, then it is time to urge her to seek out medical care. Good luck to your friend, I’ve been there, and it is not a pleasant state.
The only thing you can do is be a friend and be there for her, try take her mind off things, take her out go shopping, go have a drink (if your over 18 of course) do something that makes her happy!
She will find someone else we have to go through a few MR WRONGS b4 we find MR RIGHT!
Tell her to SNAP OUT OF IT. Does she know how many people there are in the world? Does she know wht percentage of guys that are douches? Does she know that the world is not ending? Does she know that people around the world starve everyday and have problems so MASSIVe that relationship problems are moot. Tell her to get a grip and that she is smart to have figured out his intentions so soon before she really became hurt or preggo.
Get her mind of it. Maybe go out on a vacation or go to a party. anything that’ll keep her mind of it.

calm her down by doing things that both of you like,to take her mind off that matter…surround her with wholesome activities,and tell her that there are more deserving guys out there
u should really talk to her that the guy is not worth it, he’s a jerk and he shouldnt be thought of, do stuff with ur friend like chatting, reading, shopping and stuff, u really need to try to get her mind off dat guy.
Just always be there for her. The best thing that you can do is to listen to her and give advice.
Mate, all you can do is be a friend to her and let her cry on your shoulder. Don’t take sides and say bad things about him because if they end up back together, you will be in the bad books. It’s always hard seeing someone you care about go through such a bad situation, but as long as you are there for them and let them know it, she will come away fine and get back on her feet. 6. Be patient. Some things take a long time to get over.
I’m the consoling friend in my group, and all I can tell you to do is be strong for her. Put on your meanest voice and make her eat. Suggest a sleepover and make her take some sleep inducing pills, or even Horlicks.
All you can do I be there to support her body as he mind figures out what it wants to do. Suggest some things, make her laugh, make her forget about him, even if its just a single second. These times will expand until she hardly ever thinks about him. A laugh is the best feeling after a painful breakup
