Is it just me or are these REALLY personal questions?
I’m reading a book on why to save it until marriage and there’s a section to ask a trusted friend, parent or mentor(even if you’re older than teen years) and I was appalled at some of the questions! I do not want to know the following about any woman! Whether you’re Michelle Obama, my pastor’s wife, my sis in law or just a friend I don’t want to know! Is it just me or are these questions PERSONAL and INAPPROPRIATE to ask a married lady?
"Do you like oral sex"
"what position is your favorite"
"How often in the day or week do you have sex"
I’m a woman in case you didn”t know.

To personal I don’t think I would even feel comfortable to answer my sister or close friend I would answer my spouse but he would know these answers.
I asked a woman those same questions the other day. She paused for a long time and finally said,
"Do you want fries with that?"
The police showed up a few minutes later.
Yes, those are personal questions…that you can see on Y!A every single day.
The difference is that on here, you are anonymous. That book was written by a crackpot, nobody would ask those of anyone but an exceptionally close friend!
These are questions that would only be appropriate with a very close friend.
Why would anyone ask someone those questions? I wouldn’t. What kind of book is that? What idiot wrote it?
I don’t think any of my friends know the answers to any of these questions and I wouldn’t answer questions that I’m not comfortable with. I would discuss these questions only with a guy I am dating or seriously involved with.
Personal if you ever plan to see these people ever in life -
I think if you are reserved and traditional,as I tend to be, those questions would be very awkward to ask or answer. But a lot of people have little, or no, shame. My older sister discusses her sex life all the time, even though I have told her many many times I do not want to hear about it. Some people find it to be an easy subject.
oh ya, these are personal questions. Still, I would have no problem asking my closest friend. I would never ask my mom these questions, though, that’s just creepy.
I think that depends on the woman. I am not ashamed of my sexual life so I don’t mind answering those questions. Yes, Doggie Style, I have sex at least once a day.
These are inappropriate questions to ask someone unless you have that special kind of relationship. You can find out answers to these things while dating without coming out and asking like this.
i am a 28 year old woman who has been married for 5 years (together for almost ten years). i have a sister who is 13 and i would have no problem with her asking me these questions. i don’t talk about my sexual life with my friends or family but if asking me these questions helps my sister or any other young lady to better understand sex and when the right time to have it is, then i have no problem answering any question they may have.
If the purpose is that this person will be verbally teaching you about sex because you don’t want to have it until marriage and they’ll be coaching you, then no. I assume they’ll know that’s their role.
Americans are so uptight. Jeez. It’s only a conversation.
I share that information with anyone who will listen. Sex is nothing to be ashamed of.
1: I enjoy doing it, but i enjoy it more when it’s done to me xD
2: Me on top of him! or him on my back =) but i like to kiss his neck,so we do him on top and me on top the most =)
3:3 times a week,3 times a day-nite,depends in our(mine especially he’s always up to it,lol) mood….
I understand what you mean, I would only share this with my bff’s and hubby! that’s about it…
But you see you got answers, i dont know you,you dont know me =)
Good luck!!!
well these are kinda personal questions. thier only inopropriate if you ask them to the person your not comfertable with. People ask me personal questions all the time, when I first meet them they ask me if it’s ok to ask me a question that I don’t have to answer cuz it seems too personal. I answer any ways. it really depends on the person that you are too. I mean. Most people I know would think that those are too Personal and or too inappropriate as well. that is. the waaay to mature people. the cool friends that are imature to other peoples eyes, they will think of this as a funny way to get to know eachother. in fact, we’ll take this as a game. a truth or dare game kinda thing. and yeah. it kinda dose seem waaaay too imature but it proves my point. it takes a different kind of personality to show that you have to take those questions as a imature person to think of them as not too personal and or inappropriate questions to ask. and or you got to be very comfertable to share such questions. I’d answer those questions no problem. even though I don’t know you. I’ll tell you cuz I’m too comfertable. I’m not worried of how you think of me, I already know I got one person in my life that loves me just as much as I love her. so yeah. I don’t mind answering crazy questions as those.
I’m curious. If it’s a book that’s trying to sell the idea of saving "it" until marriage, why would anyone be asking those kinds of questions, now?
And they’re Bulshiss questions anyway. Everyone’s different.
How does asking the questions help anything? Who wrote the book? Yeah, cant trust everything you can read now a days, just use your judgement.
I agree with another poster that said that if it helps someone else then they’re all for it.. I just couldn’t imagine anyone asking these sort of questions.
I don’t care if other people like oral (though to be fair, it is a rhetorical question, who DOESN’T like oral? I mean honestly) nor do I want to imagine any one I know having sex. The book is weird.
Also, as for saving it until marriage, how would hearing about oral or other such things inspire you to wait?
