   Um, I’m sorry, but getting drunk is not an excuse for cheating. No one forced those drinks down your throat. He will most likely never trust you again, and the best thing you could ever do for him is to leave him alone.

   Don’t drink again. Ever. Give it up and tell him that’s what you did for him. Mean it. Tell him you’re sorry. And one more thing: don’t make fun of his new girlfriend. That is a definite way to tell him how much you DON"T care. Don’t try to show him how terrible she is, or whatever, just to show him how great you are. That makes you look more like a selfish snob (I’m not saying that’s what you ARE, just what it would make you look like) than someone he’d want to date. If he doesn’t want to take you back he never wanted you in the first place. But one more thing: if he had gotten drunk and cheated with another girl, you’d be mad, too, wouldn’t you? Think about it.
