My Christmas tree is almost dead already, how can I bring it back to life?
Just got our tree for the downstairs two days ago, and I’ve been afraid to put lights or decorations on it because all the needles keep falling off. It’s in water. We didn’t cut an inch off the stump because we were afraid of shaking it too much…making more needles fall off. What can I do? It’s in water…is there a "food" I could put in it to make it live again? I would like to start decorating it!!!

There is plenty of stuff you can get to perk it up for a short time. It probably will be droopy like that until christmas though. Go to the nearest plant shop and ask them.
Yes, get some plant food.
I use a liquid kind that you dilute with water.
There is really nothing else you can do
You have the heat on in your home naturally!!!
So its going to continue to dry and die,,,
Tree soaking it in water while leaving it in the sun for a few days. It worked for a tree I had a few years ago. Actually it died a few months after but I’m certain that it prolonged its life.
It is highly recommended to seek advice from florists or an arborist. A specialist on such field will definitely avoid you mess up with your tree for Christmas.

Richard may be right but I also do think you consult experts first because every thing you do with it right now, it’s possible it can make it worse.
