What is your opinion on the NY doctor whose demanding his kidney back or 1.5 million from his estranged wife?
Keeping in mind that this woman cheated on him several times prior to and after receiving his kidney and now refuses to let him see his 3 kids. Also it may be important to note that she received 2 kidneys prior to his that failed and would’ve been on a waiting list behind 6000+ for another. He seemed like a bad guy till I really read why he’s doing it but what do you think?

I think he’s a little bitter. I’m not sure if getting that kidney back or getting a settlement is going solve much of anything for him. I think it has nothing to do with the kids actually. If he cared about them, I think he would go about things in a different way.
edit: I understand the guy is upset and all, but he’s a surgeon whose job is to preserve life. Just asking for his kidney back, I think, violates his oath as a doc because obviously her giving the kidney back would mean that she would have to ge tback on the donor list where her chances of getting another one are very low. Howevever, if he ever needs a kidney, he is going to be at the top of the list because of his job.
He says it’s not about the money or the kidney. He wants to see his kids, but the kids can see what he is doing. He’s just trying to humiliate their mother. They’re never going to want to see him after this.
She’s mean and she manipulated him to get the kidney. Had he been aware of the facts she would not have gotten it.
I think its sad cause he gave her his kidney and look how she repays him.

I think he should take her a*s to the cleaners in the divorce settlement, on the grounds of adultery, parental alienation, and irreconcilable differences. But the kidney thing, that reminds me of a little kid saying, "You aren’t playing the game my way, so I’m going to take my ball and go home".
This is a ploy by his clever divorce attorney. Apparently the couple is well to do, and there is a sizable "pot" of assets to split. He is trying to establish a dollar value on his donated kidney, so that dollar amount can be counted as part of her assets that she will be taking.
Nobody is perfect he sounds like a little kid, you did this and I want this back now or else. To me he sounds like a jackass, I’ve seen the news reports. I’ve been married almost 18 yrs and if the wife did that to me, I would not act like that. I would take it like a man and kick the other mas butt.
