How did you rekindle your romance and get your spouse to be more sexual?
Often, a woman focuses on raising children for a time or a man has a stressful career. Many people take a back seat to their relationship in an effort to focus on the children or career. If you are a married man or woman, what did you do to get back in the groove?

Focused on myself. Got into the gym, read books, relaxed. Anything to feel sexy. The better I felt the better mood I was in. I would also schedule events for us to go out. Dinner with each other, friends, plan parties etc.
Make "date night" a priority and schedule it in the books. Just like an appt. always make time for your spouse and you to have alone time.
I schedule date night at least once a month ( to go out as a couple, hire a babysitter etc…) but if I can, I do it twice a month. Even if you don’t go out, send the kids to family or a babysitters and have a nice romantic night in.

The answer is….
If your sex life is out of groove after a career and/or children, then it was never really in groove in the first place.
A good sex life can withstand these life changing events that people tend to blame.
Sent the kids to grandmas for 10 days and acted like a bunch of nudists.
Lucky for me my wife has always been very sexual. Even when things weren’t that smooth the lovin’ was always there.
We’ve been married 28 years so we’ve gone through what you’re talking about and I’d say work on talking and listening. Get to know each other again and more deeply. Strive to become friends and not just spouses. So start spending some happy time together. Go out and do things where you can talk. Bring some of the romance back. Get a little silly again. Working on the health of the relationship in general will do more to bring the sex back than anything else.
Also, getting in shape helps, and it’s good for your health and self respect as well.
