My cat has been gone for 2 weeks.. how do i make him come back?
Two days ago he came pretty near the house.. but it was raining, so he didnt want to come out of wherever he was..
Then I went to school, and when i came back he wasnt anywhere near.
He has another family, I’m sure about that because I still hear him meow. But how do I go around asking people "Do you have my cat?" They’ll sure say no, if they have kept him for 2 weeks, it’s because they want him.
What can I do to attract him back?

I feel bad for you. You must be really sad. Oh, yes, I forgot about answering. Sorry. Um I am 9, and here is my advice:
1.Does your cat have a food that he really likes? Then if he comes near the house sometimes, go where he usually comes and put the food that he really likes.
2.Make posters to let your neighbors know that you are searching for him. Also paste or print a photo of him on the poster. On the poster, include your phone number. Ask permission too. & if you don’t have a photo of him, draw a picture of him. Plus, include on the poster that your cat has been gone for 2 weeks.
I will be praying so you will find and get your cat back.

maybe you should put up lost signs and have a reward. if a neighbor has seen him they will definately give him back.
you can go around with a cup of cat food and shake it and it might come back if it is hungry

Well, he IS your cat. I think you should print up some "missing kitty" flyers and hand them out to your neighbors. Hopefully the people who found him will contact you. If you hear him around the house, you could always put a bowl of food just outside the door to entice him back. You might lure a lot of others though, but he might come too.
Cats really need to be kept as inside pets. There are too many things, AND people that can happen to them outside.

Do you have a printer? Or a picture of your kitty? If so print out all the relevant information about your cat and drop it in as many letterboxes in your area as you can. You could state you will also offer a reward – don’t state how much on the flyer! The reward could only be a minimal sum, $10 – $20. The lure of a ‘reward’ (which they don’t know how much is)may entice the person who may have your cat to return him. Call for him and leave a saucer of milk out.

If you ever do find your cat again, you should go to your vet. There was something on a commercial that can help you find lost pets.
You could try not trying to "make" him do things, and instead treat him as a part of the family (unless your family is abusive). Treat him with respect, and he’ll want to stay around becasue you make him feel good. Any creature that you treat as a slave will naturally want to escape from you.
He will come back when he is ready, he must be getting feed some were else, their is really nothing you can do until he comes himself, anyway if he does come back are you going to lock him in and make him a house cat, because once you let him out he will just disappear again, its true what they say, cats chose their owners, not the other way around, you could get him neutered they tend to stay around the house after you get that done.

Put up posters with a good picture and your phone number. And don’t be shy about knocking on doors or asking people outside! Most people will be willing to help and will call with sightings.
If he doesn’t have a collar or a microchip, whoever has him might think he’s a stray so they might have taken him in. Hopefully he’s safe no matter what the outcome is!
Also, when you’re home, keep the windows open, and put dirty laundry on your deck or outside the door. If he’s nearby and wants to come home, the scent of his people will attract him. Keep your eyes peeled, and good luck!
Are you sure another family has him? If they do it doesn’t matter, it is YOUR cat! March up there and get him from them! If you have any proof that he’s (or she) is yoursbring that too…if that doesn’t work get a lawyer! Good luck!
