What should I say to my confidence less, shy friend?
Being a good friend I tried to hook him up with some of my friends and even one of my ex’s. But he claims that hes to ugly and that girls don’t like him. I tell him to have confidence, he says he has no reason to have confidence since he’s never had success with girls. what should i say?

Aww that’s to bad.
If he has that attitude, no wonder he ‘doesn’t have success with girls’
No girl wants to be with a guy who dislikes himself. Dislike takes up all the space for like. If you get my point. Tell him that if he wants to be with a girl, he has to make an effort more than slouching, muttering, and saying very little, looking unhappy, etc etc
If i was going out with a guy who looked unhappy, i would think it would be because of me, and then i’d think it was a lost cause.
Somehow i don’t think he’ll take to that, but that’s the opinion from a girl, so yeah. Plus no guy is that ugly. And if you’re friends with him, he obviously has some worth. Another girl will see that in him.
this makes me sad. but if you’re a good friend you would have a ‘heart to heart" and show him all the good qualities about himself. He needs to go to a psychiatrist he could be hurting more than you know and may need help before he hurts himself.
