We split after 3 years together over silly arguments and i didnt hear from him for just over 2 weeks, then he started to callmy mobile. Today i took his latest call and he says although he cannot onestly say we may get back together he promises he wants to keep talking. So i take it he means we may get back together. Honestly, i so know my own mind i cannot comprehend how other people dont! Well good luck i am in the same scenario right now. Okay, here is your strategy: Don't text him ANYmore at all. Post REALLY cute new pictures of yourself looking FABULOUS on your Facebook and Myspace (come on you KNOW he's looking). He was probably pretty upset that after he offered to see you for New Years, you asked for your stuff back, that tells him that you want to make it a permanent split up. Right now that time is super critical because he's about to totally move on. I would not contact him at ALL for the next few weeks, even if you have to cry yourself to sleep just thinking about him, trust me. The radio silence will absolutely kill him. Don't drunk text or call. Go into your phonebook and DELETE his number out. Not that you don't have it memorized, but basically this will make it harder for you to try to text or call him since you'll have to do it manually. Take the next 3 weeks to think about WHY you broke up. Are there things you could have done differently or habits he didn't like? Are they changeable? Try doing a mini-makeover on yourself, inwardly and outwardly. Wait and see if he mails your stuff back. If he doesn't, call him in about 3 weeks and offer to meet him halfway or to drive to his house to pick it up. Don't make demands or be rude. Just be super polite, it'll remind him of all the reasons he liked you in the first place. Wear a new outfit. Make sure it's understated but totally hot. Have your nails done, and your hair shiny and beautiful, wear a yummy scent. Super sweetly tell him that you're there to get your stuff and you are sorry things ended the way they did. Don't cry, and don't sound desperate, just be really guarded but sweet. Kindly gather your things and the ONLY thing you can say to him as you're leaving is "You know I still love you, and you know how to find me. Take care." This will let him know you are still interested, but, that you are NOT desperate. Don't beg him back or break down, you are strong and beautiful, and he has to realize that you are completely capable of moving on without him. Most of all, he has to see some sort of change in you. And then walk away. Don't look back, don't call and don't text.
