But, I can honestly say feeling sorry for yourself will not work, holing yourself up away from men won't allow you to get to your goal any faster. I'm 31, soon to be 32, have a long career, my own house, and even with two cats I still feel lonely. But, don't become desperate because it won't allow you to see past the "bad" choices that are out there lol. Believe me, the last thing you want is to add a child, become a single mother, and throw a crazy EX into your dating game as well. Just be patient, but get out there, go to the gym, continue with your education, pick up something you love to do, surround yourself with the things you love to do, or the types of people you want to meet. Slow down and relax. You say you are Christian so you will have heard in the past that God has a plan for each of us. He has each of our days mapped out for us and each one of us has a purpose to fulfill. I understand where you are coming from because I too am 28 and not married..but I'm overall not that sad or anxious about it. On a bad day sure I can feel all the things that you do..so when I feel like that, I remind myself that its ok..if I'm meant to be with someone it will come to pass, if my life's purpose requires that I be single..so be it. It can be difficult to surrender my life to God - sometimes I'm like..what are you doing up there?! Where is my soul-mate to share this life with!!.. but I trust that God has it covered.
