To answer both of your questions:
If you want to get over her: cut off all contact with her and either throw away or hide everything that reminds you of her while you’re getting over her. It’s going to take some time to heal, but you can help make things easier if you keep yourself busy. Go out and take up some new hobbies. Things that you are genuinely interested in. You can join clubs or groups that discuss these things and you’ll meet new friends and maybe even a new girl to take your mind off your ex.
If you want to get her back: you also need to cut off all contact, but only for about 2-4 weeks. From her point of view, you should seem to have vanished from the face of the earth. This will cause her to get curious about what you’re up to. She might even contact you during this time.
When you’re ready, suggest that the two of you get together for coffee to catch up. When you meet be that funny and happy guy that she fell for to begin with. Keep your conversation light and fun. Avoid talking about serious things like your relationship or getting back together. The important point is to leave her with a good feeling of you.
If things go well, continue to see her every now and then and continue keeping everything light and fun. Do this, and over time, she will remember why she fell in love with you to begin with and at that point, the two of you can talk about giving your relationship a second chance.
