If not, try and just be friends if the situation allows for it. And, 25 days is NOT too long between break-ups to come back. My friend went out with someone, and got into a very deep relationship. They broke up, didn't speak for months. Time passed and they became good friends again...and ended up back together, two years after he first asked her out. so, it's not impossible.
