I want my natural hair color back, how long does the dye from my hair come out completely to my natural color?
I’ve dye my hair since I was fifteen years old and now I’m twenty-two but I’m just tired of changing the color and retouching it when I go to the salon. I been through all of the colors such as blonde, black, red and so on but now I just want my natural hair color back. It has been two months that I stopped coloring my hair and my roots are visible. How long does it take for the color to come out completely?

If you used semi permanent it will slowly fade out over 6-8 weeks if it it permanent I suggest that you trim hair once a month and have someone streak through a middle color between your natural and the tinted color and slowly bring your color back over 6 months time or you take the chance of breakage, from overlap of tint and bleach and if that doesn’t happen the least damage would be for your hair to feel like straw until all the virgin hair has grown out.
i dont think it ever comes off completely… u should consider either dying it black or waiting for your natural hair to grow back fully.. if you cant wait that long, use the former suggestion
If you used permanent hair color then you either have to color it to the same color as your hair color was before or just keep trimming your hair as it grows. I hear that henna results in natural colors but I’ve never tried it.
It takes approx. 1 month to grow 1 inch of hair, so if you want your natural hair color, and you want it to be about 3 inches long, then it will take about 3 months. But permanent hair color treatments do not fade.
I have the same deal with my hair. The best you can do is to keep your haircolor all colored a color closest to your natural haircolor and you will have to grow it all out since haircolor can’t really be taken out completely. Just let it grow with a natural hue from even a drugstore colorant like Loreal. I did this after being every haircolor and I was happy with the results.
Remember to condition often and deep condition once a week with a product like Pantene’s jar of restorative conditioner it makes all the difference in the world on the hair itself.
Good luck to you
Why not just dye it to your natural color (or close enough) and forget about it?
*haha* sorry to tell you this not what you want to hear Not gonna happen Never gonna happen it will not magically fade to your natrual color unless you chop it all off til you only ahve the one inch roots showing- Luckly theres one more thing you can do Make one last trip to the salon ask them to match your hair color with your natraul roots comming in, and they can you wont have to worry with it anymore, until you decide to change it again! lol Pleasefor petes sake DO not use the over the counter JUNK you will end up making a BIG FAT mess of your hair- it will take a professional to mix a special blend for you to match your natraul color. Hope this helps-
What I did was:
went to my hairdresser. told her i wanted my hair to go back to its natural color [i'm 1/2 asian and it was dyed / highlighted a light copper/medium and dark brown color at the time] ……but didn’t want to cut too much off [it was shoulder length at the time]…
so she dyed and highlighted it "just enough" to look natural so i didn’t have to keep going back for highlights… mainly trims… the dark colors seem to grab to the hair better and not fade like browns and reds; but that could be because that’s how the texture of my hair is….
if you have a good stylist this should not be a problem for you !

at last every one want natural thing.its gud..(der aye drust aye) its just a proverb. anywaz use olive oil daily and masage it deeply(means at roots),. and even cut ur hairs.. from salon ..wherever ur hair are coloured…nd i think by doing colouring so much ur hair got dead.as same thing happens wid me. .so its better if u will not use these all chemicals again.bcoz it will just damage ur hair.if any othere information regarding dis u want to knw… thn reply me.ok. nd even wash ur hair wid (curd ,sarso da oil and nimbu)mix these 3 things.its ur wish if u want to do..wid dis ur hair will bcome smooth, silky ..nd improve ur hair.
It will fade out over time but not go completely. Sorry!
use loreal color zap ! it washes all of the dye in your hair , & returns your hair color. you could buy it at sallys beauty supply :] hoped I helped <3
Mine has taken a year to come out, you can always have the option of getting your hair stripped to get the colour out!
