Will he ever love me again?
My boyfriend of a year and a half told me three months ago that he isn’t in love with me. He still comes over every weekend, we talk on the phone everyday, he cuts my grass, does chores around my house, takes me out to eat BUT only as friends. He doesn’t lead me on, he doesn’t make any moves on me. I still lead my life as usual and am thinking of dating again soon. He says he is attracted to me, loves me, would do anything for me, is more comfortable with me than anyone ever before. I feel as if he is the love of my life, but I have totally backed off and go along with the friend thing. Do you think he could still come back to me one day?

if he truly loved you, then yes. if you really love someone, you never really do stop loving them….if he does love you, sooner or later he’ll realize what a huge mistake he made
I’m almost wondering if he has mixed emotions. It sound like he definiatly likes you way more than a friend. Maybe he went through some stage and when he was bock to normal you had changed. give him a chance and if he doesn’t take it then move on. also talk to him about it. If he won’t say move on!
its possible and only time will tell. in the meantime let him know how you feel so he wont think your lying to him all this time but let him know your going to try to just be friends. this way he’ll know that you respect him and it also means your backing of and not pressuring him. he will be gratefull for this and it will give him time to think over what he wants. hopefully you! good luck
I suppose that it’s possible that he doesn’t really know what love is. How did he grow up? Look at the way he was raised and see if it gives you any clues.
I would doubt that he will see you as anything but a friend.
I think that you should give him some more time. It’s obvious that he loves you very much. Don’t rush back to the dating thing, you might end up losing someone very precious. I think what is going on is that he is scared to commit for fear of messing things up. ie. he thinks that once he commits romatically things will change. If he really loves you, and based on what you described, I think he does, he’ll come around. Millions of people wait and hope for a partner like him/her. Give him some more time, maybe even up to a year. Don’t be so impatient. Remember we live in the " I want what I want, and I want it now" society. Things that are worthwhile are worth waiting for.

Yes. When he does make up his mind about coming back, he will come with a marriage commitment. Go ahead and live without him while he is playing whatever game he is playing with you but if you become socially active again, you may find that you no longer want him. I am sure he knows that and he also knows he does not have forever to change his mind.
