How long does it take to get over your ex? Am I abnormal?
Oh plus I dont even work so Im home constantly.
I got a inheritance when my parents died.
I was with my ex for 6 years and lived with her for 2.
She left all most a year ago and Im still not over her. I don’t stalk her or anything I haven’t even tried to speak with her in like 7 months but I cant move on.
Ive been in a drunkin drug induced stupper for god knows how long.
Ive had plenty of opportunities for a new GF and all my friends have tried to set me up and once in a while I will be messed up and have a one night stand but I will never let it move on from there.
I just cant get over her. Im all most 30 years old and im a mess. Booze an drugs are costing me all most a grand a week, all I do is get wasted and hope she will call. If and when I come to the conclusion shes not going to call I probably would completely fall apart and possibly commit suicide.
Where do I go from here? Im lost

Bro get urself together. try to accept that she is not coming back. U have to get out and start doing better things. don’t do drugs. Think about this she is gone and she is happy where she is then u have to to be the one suffer like this. Believe in fresh start. Do excercise . meet friends and try to open ur heart little by little. Try dating new girls . it doesn’t matter whether u will love them or not but eventually u will find one that u will fallin love. Don’t waist ur life like this. I am in same boat as u my friend. i still think about my ex , we broke up 2 years ago but i have not stopped my life. i go out have fun and go to gym and play sports and flirt with other girls. Doing that gives me lots of confidence. I go clubbing and just try to enjoy my time. Of course it’s not easy but drugs and booze aren’t the way to get over her. You have to learn how to control your thoughts about her so you can get over the drugs and liquor and move on with your life
