How do I run Sims Making Magic?
When I try to run my installed Sims Making Magic, it plays the EA Games video (the one where it says "challenging everything") and simply flashes back to the desktop. I know for a fact that I have all the video requirements and I installed the game properly. I never had this problem with my Sims Unleashed and Superstar Expansion sets. Any suggestions?

I’m not sure. Aside from doing as the above poster suggested (uninstall and reinstall), make sure your expansions follow the suggested install order. This order is:
The Sims (original) or Deluxe** (see note below)
Livin Large (Livin it Up in Europe)
House Party
Hot Date
Vacation (On Holiday in Europe)
Unleashed
Superstar
Makin’ Magic
**DELUXE — although this is a compilation of The Sims and Livin Large, Maxis did add some bonus content too so it can be used as your base game, but gets treated like an expansion when determining which CD is used to play
So, in your case, the suggested order would be The Sims / Deluxe ===> Unleashed ===> Superstar ===> Makin’ Magic
Other than that, all I can suggest is that you look at The Sims Resource. They have an extremely knowledgeable The Sims 1 General forum, and have always been able to help me with my Sims problems in the past.
