How do you cope with a break-up while pregnant?
I am about ready to pop anyday now. My Sons Father left about 3 weeks ago with no explaination or reasons. He refuses to acknowlege that I am even alive. He went from being there to practically being dead to me. What can I do to make this time easier on myself? I went from having a plan to everything being uncertain. As I said I get no response from him on any of his plans. Now I am trying to face my own emotions and prepare for this baby that is coming any day now on my own.

Im so sorry to hear that,but I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunatly men have no idea what kind of emotional/physical/mental tool being preganant takes on us. We need that support that back bone behind us and they should be the one there considering the fact that you didnt make that baby on your own. The sad part is you cant make him want to be be with you and you cant make him want your baby. Believe I know I have been there. Will my daughter 7 years ago and I am now 2 months pregnant. Sometimes after the baby is born they change my daughters father did he’s alot better now. I hate to say sometimes you just to climb that mountain everyday without him. It will be hard but that baby is counting on you and just think how proud you will be to say one day you know I was a single mom I stuggled and I did it You will be ok talk to your family friends if they care about you they will be your shoulder. Concentrate on the delivery and contact a lawyer. This is going to be hard no other way to cut it. But need to focus on you and the child for now. He can be caught later.
If he has done this you are better off without him anyway.
wow thats really hard. just focus on your baby and yourself. try to take care of yourself as much as you can. my ex husband left me 8 months pregnant with our 4th kid and I was a mess. Make sure you keep talking to family and friends and treat yourself to alot of good things. I dont know whats wrong with "men" these days, but you and your baby deserve better. If you can get ahold of him after you have the baby, then I’d call him or his parents and let them know you had it.

get a lawyer get child support first of all.. don’t let your feelings for him get in the way. just try and stay calm find a good friend to spend time with distract your self with things to keep busy until the baby gets here. once your son arrives you’ll have more then enough to keep you busy! trust me you look into that babies face and he’ll be the most important person in your whole life. your sons father won’t really matter anymore because that child is number one.
