After being married there and having your kids baptized there?
What kind of man would go to a church for 20 years then throw it under the bus when it became public knowledge what was being preached there?

I saw a right wing preacher in the news with some very hateful things to say in general. I didn’t notice anyone leaving that church, but rather staying and drinking up the venomous talk.
Good for someone like Obama, if that is who you are referring to, for standing up for some basic beliefs and walking away from some hateful things that were being said about others in that church.
Religious folk being what they are, don’t always have common sense as they are often indoctrinated to their leaders of their particular church.
A church is but a building and a preacher just a man… I would have thought it was what is in one’s heart that matters…

I left the Catholic Church, after I realized it was all about the money, and little boys.
Having dispelled the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and Religion many years ago, my time has been better spent living in reality for 40 of my 66 years on this earth.
Slurs and allegations of this type are easy to propogate on anyone, including the President.
Try some truth and reality for a positive change in your life. With a little science to keep you grounded to the facts. You will do yourself a favor.
The kind a majority of Americans would vote to the most powerful position in the world.
