With no Republicans to stand in the way, how did the Dems get so unpopular so fast?
They have the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. They have the numbers to force through any idea that they’ve dreamed of passing. So, why are they becoming so unpopular?

BECAUSE THE RADICAL, LIBERAL AGENDA GOT THRU AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE REJECT IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY.
We do not want to work harder than anyone else, only to have the fruits of our labor pick-pocketed away from us by an overbearing and overly large bureaucratic government.
We do not want our dollar devalued with the intention of destroying the private sector and the U.S. Economy so that Obama can remake America in his own vision of communism/marxism.
We do not want the govt to run our private decisions concerning medical care.
We do not want this govt to sell us out via a hoax called "climate change". We do not want Obama to sign an International Treaty that gives away all authority over our ECONOMY and our ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES to an International Committee of Nations who hate us.
We do not want the govt to invade and intrude on privately-owned companies and tell them what they can pay their own employees and how they can or cannot run their own companies.
We do not want to have our kindergarteners taught how to masterbate. We do not want a guy hired by Obama to oversee school safety who looks away when a little boy is being raped by an older man.
We do not want our Congress and our Senate to be purposely by-passed along with the American people, by hiring a "czar" who is not vetted and not voted in, to set policy and law.
We do not want environmentalist nutjobs to be given such extreme amounts of power, that we sit by and watch our electric bills go up over $1700. per year, per household.
We do not want Treaty signed that strips all American parents of their parental rights and gives those rights over OUR children to the United Nations CRC.
We do not appreciate Obama making a deal with the Saudi King that says that if Americans purchase less oil from them, that we will still pay for that oil we DO NOT BUY out of taxpayer money.
We do not appreciate Obama making pledges to the International Community that the American people will pay a REPARATIONS tax to pay for what Obama describes as our "selfishness in living an American lifestyle" for the past 60 years. You black folks out there: how’s it feel that this Pres
has bypassed all the "hope" he told you to have in him, and instead is going to force YOU to pay reparations for being an American. Still love Obama? You won’t for long. How’s that hope and
change workin out for you so far? Don’t hold your breath waiting for an Obama-miracle because its not gonna happen – in fact, he plans to screw you just like the rest of us.
The Chinese are getting rid of all their American currency because they’ve already pleaded with Obama to stop committing economical suicide, but Obama needs and wants to destroy our economy, because otherwise he won’t be able to change that entire system, which is the heart of his agenda. Thats why getting control of healthcare is so important to him: it is over 17% of the economy he wants to destroy – if you hand control of it over to him, he will destroy it easily.
Same with the Banks. They already paid back with interest most of the tarp money borrowed, and most of those banks didn’t want to borrow it in the first place – THEY WERE FORCED TO.
Now, Obama wants all American citizens to get behind him with pitchforks and torches and go after the banks because they are now back on the road to prosperity and health. Obama wants to tax them and penalize them for being prosperous and healthy. ISN’T THAT WHY WE SUPPOSEDLY GAVE THEM BAILOUT MONEY? WASN’T IT BECAUSE WE WANTED TO GET THEM BACK TO PROSPERITY AND HEALTH? SO WHY PENALIZE THEM FOR IT?
Answer: Because Obama needs to destroy our banking system in order to destroy the economy.
Anybody out there still think that this ongoing recession and extreme job losses are by accident?
Still think it is Bush who did it? Obama needs this economy to go down in burning flames so that he could do EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID DURING THE CAMPAIGN WHEN NOBODY WAS LISTENING TO HIM, AND NOBODY WAS QUESTIONING OR VETTING HIM:
HE SAID: " We are five days away from fundamentally transforming America". The question should have been: Transforming us into WHAT? Now we know, and we also know that other Countries are afraid they will be holding alot of worthless American paper that used to be called "money" when Obama finally implodes our system and leaves us like another third world banana republic.
Hell, China and the Arab Immerites are seriously considering not acknowledging American money as the global currency. When that happens, we are screwed.
We don’t only have Democrats in power: the Dem party has been literally hyjacked by the worst, most radical revolutionary liberals ever to trample the Halls of Wash DC. We the People are being ignored mostly or else insulted and laughed at by those in power, because they know that even if we hate them, they plan to move ahead with the most sinister, anti-American policies ever suggested in this Nation.
They promised change and delivered to us Bush’s third term. We hated white Bush. Why would we love black Bush?

Well they started spending our money faster than a pick-pocket..they started backing un-American ideas..like the health care scam..they just seem to be so good at shooting them selves in the foot.
BECAUSE no Republicans were standing in the way…
They have nobody to stand behind to avoid being judged.
They are doing a poor job, and this will not change until there is a balance in

It took LESS than a year for the American people to see that obama is an incompetent, traitorous, appeasing, thieving, Affirmative Action FRAUD.

Did you know that there are dozens of filibusters going on right now with the Republicans determined to gum up any progress in congress? Right now the Democrats are unpopular for the simple reason that they have not smacked down the idiotic, do-nothing Republicans that are determined to destroy majority rule and through their obstructionism see that the minority rules in this country. The best thing this country can do for itself is to see that no Republican ever gets elected until some sanity, common sense and dignity is returned to the Republican party. Their conservative agenda is what brought us to where we are and their obstructionism is a large part of the reason that the recovery has been slow. BTW you just may be counting your chicken a little too soon. just a few months ago the Democrats won a seat in congress that had been locked into the Republican party for more than one hundred years….Oh yes, that 18% approval rating for the Republican party means that the Democrats are hugely popular in comparison.
Bob, there are not enough republicans to filibuster anything. They would have to have Dems on their side. As for the question, there are those who believed that when O’s socialist tendencies became the mainstream , everything would be better. They have found out that is not the case. Others, were caught up in the vague rhetoric and blame game that are now tired of hearing it .Still others have learned what kind of devastation health care take over, card check, cap and trade will cause. There are those who are beginning to realize that playing cutsies with rogue dictators has not served us well either. If the Dems start working together, nothing can stop them
The dems are not unpopular, just look at the polls.Its the GOP who are unpopular, trying their hardest to see the President fail, and trying their hardest to cry to the people …see we are honest.They are the biggest threat to them selves.
Before 2006 Republicans had the House, Senate and Presidency on the way to driving the country into the ground. The unpopularity of Democrats is due partly to unrealistic expectations on the part of many Americans. This economic mess we find ourselves in was decades in the making, and it’s not going away anytime soon. The most foolish thing Americans could possibly do, would be to reward Republicans to fix the problems of their own making. If Scott Brown wins the Senate seat once held by Ted Kennedy, in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1, it will be a defeat of ironic proportions.

Your lack of knowledge is showing. Both the House and Senate have procedures that allow any Representative or Senator to hold up legislation and Republicans have used both over and over again. Do try to fill your gaps in knowledge. You and I both know that the Republicans have obstructed every piece of legislation put forward this year including military and other government funding measures. And as unpopular as the Democrats have become the Republicans still are even lower on the popularity level, as is only right.
They are a victim of their own success. With no republicans to blame it on. They are getting the credit for their own dumb ideas.

They are unpopular with independents and Republicans, not with Democrats. They are deliberately not forcing through health care legislation under the Reconciliation procedure. Americans are afraid of change.

Because Democrats all don’t agree on everything, just like all Republicans don’t agree on everything.
Democrats have 60 votes in the Senate, but several of them are actually fairly conservative, and won’t go along with ideas like Medicare for all or the public option in the health care bill.
So the mainstream wing of the Democratic party can’t really force through anything they want. They have to compromise, at least with the more conservative and liberal members of their own party.
Since Republicans refuse to help out, it makes it hard to pass any far reaching or controversial legislation.
