He might not take you back, just out of spite for you breaking up with him. So I wouldn’t keep my hopes up with him.. Unless he’s the desperate, clingy type.
If you really want him back, tell him while it’s not yet late that he moved on already..So if I were you, tell him now!

Okay, the first thing you can do for yourself is calm down. You certainly will not get him back by being hysterical.
The second thing is, analyze why you want him back. Are you just lonely now that you’ve broken up with him? That’s not a good reason.
This is the hardest part: wait a few days. Maybe even a few weeks. If you still want him back then, reanalyze why.
There must be a reason you broke up with him. Remember that, find some new hang out friends, and occupy yourself with things other than thinking about how much you miss him. It’ll help.
Ask for his forgiveness, be sincere in saying sorry because you have hurt your ex deeply.
