There’s one simple answer to your question and it’s been repeated hundreds of times: If you love someone, let them go, if they come back to you, they are yours forever, if they don’t then they were never yours to begin with. So go out there and meet other people, you do not know what the future holds so all you can do is live for the present.

Move on, kiddo. Find someone who ~will~ have the time for you. It’s no fun being hitched to a workaholic, and if he hasn’t time for you now – or at least, his work is his excuse – don’t wait around; he may never have the time,and life’s too short to be kept dangling on a string. Besides which, if you get someone else and are not so available to him, he might wake up and realise that you ~are~ worth making time for! (But don’t hold your breath!)

If you stop chasing him from now on, there could still be a chance, however I don’t know to what extent you chased him. Sometimes this does a lot of harm to a relationship. Start dating again with some friends, and no sex….till you know if there is still a chance for the relationship, it’s going to be tough, but this is the only choice you have left of probably winning him back.
