How do I get rid of pimples and acne scars fast?
ok, so I’m going back to school in a couple of days and I want to get this pimple off of my face, since I want to have great first impressions. I tried putting ice on it, it didn’t work. I tried toothpaste, made it more worse! And it kinda reduced when I tried the salt and the warm water treatment. Please help me how to get rid of pimples and acne scars fast and naturally.
P.S. Don’t answer if you are just going to be mean.

Never had pimples but one of my sis does…dont wash your face with warm or hot water it opens up your pores…wash it with cold cold water only…to hide that zit in your face theres a concealer that can cure while it covers… Want to camouflage those blemishes? You need a good acne concealer. Luckily, you don’t have to look too hard or spend too much for a decent makeup concealer. In fact, you can find them at many discount chains, drug stores, even the grocery store. And since they’re all under $10, they’re a real bargain.

Ask a doctor, i did and they gave me a prescription medicine and it worked great.
Toothpaste made it worse because it’s pulling everything out. I would honestly suggest popping it to get all of the stuff out them immediatly wash your face and put some kind of topical medicne on it. If you can get ahold of it quick, (ie: mall) get the proactive mask. It;s made with sulfur which will take all the redness out and dry it up quickly. Make sure you start using something everyday so you can avoid big flare ups. Proactiv three step program works really well if you use it everyday! Good luck!
Try a sugar scrub. (Just wet your face and use sugar as an exfoliant.)

Scars are impossible to get rid of "fast."
What always helps me is washing my face before I go to sleep. And I have kinda long hair so I get acne on my forehead too, so I try and keep it out of my face when I sleep. I havn’t quite figured out a good way to do that but I’ve been told it helps.
And as for perscription medication, I just started that about a week ago and I’m already seeing my face and back clear up.

There is no quick fix for curing acne. It’s unlikely that your pimple will simply go away (especially if you’ve been irritating it), so it’s important that you understand the nature of acne to begin with. Remember that there are several types of pimple, and several types of pimple scar, and so homemade remedies, whilst they may be effective for a short time, won’t usually work all the time, and damage your skin.
To prevent acne:
1. Wash and cleanse your face at least twice daily with mild soap and astringent (you’ll want to find something with salicylic acid; avoid strong benzoyl peroxide, as that will harm your skin and possibly cause more acne).
2. Avoid touching your face. A type acne is caused by bacteria on the skin, so try and keep materials (hands/clothes/hair) from touching and possibly contaminating areas prone to breakout.
3. Sleep. Sleep rejuvenates the skin and improves overall health. It seems simple, but most people neglect sleep ritually.
4. Drink water. Water is possibly one of the strongest acne deterrents. Water transports toxins out of the body, and the water you drink is very much accountable for skin health.
To fade/get rid of acne scars:
Acne scars are a tricky thing–the most common types are pock marks and hyperpigmented blotches. Both are healed in the same fashion however.
1. Drink water and take vitamin supplements. Again, water is responsible for renewing the skin, and vitamins work in order to heal skin, replacing the pimple-damaged surface. You can’t realize how important water is. You do need at least 8 cups a day. Increasing your water intake only will yield results in as little as 1-2 month(s).

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

ask your dermatologist for Tazorac. It is the best prescribed acne medicine I know of. It works really well and quicker than anything else i’ve used. However, it might get worse before it gets better. However, mine only went worse went i went on a pimple popping spree. Trust me it works
the best thing for infected acne is to use eye drops, it reduces infection.
