How to Tell if your ex is trying to get back with you or talk to?

My ex and I broke up in august she and I agreed to stay friends, and we did up to Halloween where she pissed me off and I haven’t talked to her since. When we were talking though she would contact me at least once a week by Face Book phone and texts and sometimes more than once a week, And when she pissed me off I dropped all contact with her. well when that day happened I got 3 phone calls from her and 2 texts, And since then i did not get any texts or phone calls till January. on January she sent me a Birthday card (my bday is in jan) and inside it had a 3 page letter that she hand wrote and on top of that had her perfume on it. When she broke up with me as well she gave me a letter and it did not have her perfume on it. Basically the letter was telling me that she misses talking to me what she has been up to since we last talked and what she is going to do in teh near future and she understands why I do not want to talk to her. then on top of that she sent me a text on my Bday. So does this sound like she wants me back? or she wants me back as a friend? any help received will be greatly appreciated.
