I have problems with my girlfriend’s dad and he asks the same questions each time he talks to me.?
Well my girlfriend and I have been dating over a year now and her dad completely hates me which is understandable. He liked me at first and then about 5 months ago we got caught having sex.
He took her away from me I didn’t talk to her for about a month which was so terrible for me but school started and we started to see each other again.
Her father gave me a chance he told me no drinking which I honestly quit and he made me go to church and read the bible which I did.The only thing I did not do was quit smoking which really makes me angry I mean his wife and his own son who is younger then me smokes and he completely broke it off.
But we still dated and I found ways to see her outside of school. about 3 weeks ago her father wanted to talk to me again, asked me a simple question what is love. I answer love is what I feel for Kelsey I am willing to do anything for her and I have been putting her needs in front of mine and I know I love her because I would not be wasting my time doing this. he responded to me that it was just a butterfly feeling, NO it is not we fight and I am completely mad at her or disappointed but I still love her the same.
Now he wants to talk to me again I know all he is going to do is chew me out. My girlfriend also told me what he is going to ask.
What is love, what have I done for her, what have I sacrificed for her?
Her father says that Kelsey is sacrificing a lot, relationship with her family and she is also grounded and her father took so many things from her, her life is hell I wish I could switch her situations.
It sucks I will answer the questions I mean I don’t have anything to sacrifice or I don’t have to and I would do anything for her and I have that smoking thing is not what she wanted but what he wanted.
I don’t know what to do or to say to him any advice? this is very stressful.
