im afraid i will never love again anyone like i loved my past ex or feel as attracted to anyone like i was with him. he was verbally abusive to me. i would have done anything for him oddly. i feel like ill never love again or feel the same way is this just silly i just turned 18 someone tell me this is just nonsence

im 14 and im having this happen. me and my boyfriend are still together but im afraid that i will never love anyone as much as i love him. like, if we break up, i dont know if ill be able to move on.. and it scares me so much. but the thing i would do is talk to your ex about it. ask him if he still has feelings for you and if he still thinks there’s something between you and him.
You’ll love again when the time is right. Stop chasing it, though. Work on making yourself a better, more interesting person. The new man you haven’t met yet will thank you for it.
honey i just got out of a year and a half long relationship with a kid who cheated on me. I lost my virginity to him and was so sure that we would be together forever. i still think about him everyday and think what would happen if we never broke up. I know your feeling. i compare every guy i go out with to him even though our relationship was so messed up. I guess just give it time and it will get better, but you have to let go of your ex. get him out of your mind and then you can truly move on.
you will love again, you will realise this in a few years. when your older you will look back and realize that 18 year olds ARE just kids and you will notice how much you have grown up since then. ever heard the saying "teenagers think they are bulletproof"? well you will grow to despise what he done to you. My only piece of advise is to watch out for abusive guys in the future and dont even give that sort a second go. there are plenty more fish in the sea and you haven’t tried hardly any of them. there are heaps of good guys so fu(k the a$$holes. It’s not the end of the world hon. You shouldn’t take you ex or whoever he is totally disrespecting you. You will find someone one day that won’t treat you like that. Don’t give up. There are plenty of men out there that will treat you like you want to be treated. Good luck
