Will baby come tonight? What can I do to help him?
I’m 40 weeks and 2 days and just got a membrane sweep. Little bit of blood afterwards and dock says (formerly a 2) now a 3. On top of that it’s a full moon tonight! This is my second pregnancy. Is it soon or am I doomed to be induced on the 3rd? What helps at this point and trust me I walk and walk and walk.

Well it sure sounds like it. I did the sweep and my water broke the morning after the full moon. Drik lots of water and Good Luck. It’ll be soon
Patience, it will happen.
I did the membrane sweep in the am…went into labor at about 10pm that night. My births are quick, she was born 2 1/2 hours later.

The only proven way to "induce" is to play with your nipples. It doesn’t always work. But nipple stimulation releases the same hormone they use to induce you at the hospital.

Have sex and go for a walk.. that’s all that can help but if your body isn’t ready then it isn’t going to work..
just take care of your nipples
