How could it end? Well, a good question to answer would be how the witch got frozen in the first place. I'd say, since it already sounds like Hansel and Gretel, to go on a variation of that. Say, those two didn't push the witch into the oven and instead just made a run for it. The witch then tried to freeze them and the spell backfired, leaving her frozen until someone else came along. All of this could come out after the witch freezes herself again while attempting to freeze the two boys. A modern variation on Hansel and Gretel….
