How to get close to a shy girl?
There’s a shy girl at my school who I’ve fancied for quite a while, cute and intelligent. Unfortunately, I’m pretty shy myself, and, though I have many friends, my quietness has labelled me as an ‘outcast’ as it were. And, although I am shy, I tend to put on an outside character of boldness, because it merely makes things flow a bit smoother.
I sometimes get the feeling she does things that show she likes me, but it could just be occasional sides of her I don’t see (due to her shyness, obviously), or I could be misinterpreting.
I’m quite good with getting along with people, save for one key problem, that I lack anything to talk about, in a conversation, I can never find something to talk about, which tends to make me get along well with outgoing, talkative people better. The girl I like is quite shy, so I encounter two problems.
1) Most obviously, I struggle to find things to talk about with her, I can’t really get close to someone I fail to talk to.
2) My bold character often scares her off, as she has verbally said before.
I’d ask her on a date outright if I had the courage and the ability to talk about things with her, but as I see it, getting close to her as a friend is probably the best way.
I get the feeling I’ve written this in ‘bits’, so I wouldn’t be surprised if something didn’t make sense, I’ll be happy to elaborate on any part misunderstood or miswritten.
Thanks for reading.

Talk about something in common first like a similar class or something. Then onto interests, movies, music. Then finally onto personal stuff.
She’s shy with you because you are shy.
If you try too hard to talk to someone, you end up looking wierd.
I know that deep within that shy boy is a man with courage and once you become her friend and you too get close it would be be hard to get out of that friend zone so i would just do it,,,and even if it doesnt work out at least you’ll know that you tried and it wasnt worth wasting time to tryin conquer her if you were going to get rejected and then you would feel comfortable to………………………………………………………..click the link
Look mate, there are two types of guys in this world. Men and Cowards. Men will try to ask her out and if she says no, you try something different or you move on. Cowards always wonder what may have been. Don’t be a coward. I’ve been rejected plenty of times, usually nicely, and if they aren’t nice about it, then they would have been a waste of your time anyhow. One thing I know is that women like men who are sure of themselves. If you’re too timid to put your hand up her shirt, when it gets to that, she is going to get the feeling she is dating a wuss. Don’t be a wuss, man up. You may be surprised.
Easy…..
Make a list of things to talk to her about. Start with one and let the conversation go…If it dies down go to another topic on your list….(don’t let her know you have a list)
Bold character??? Girls don’t like cocky nor arrogrance…They love confidence….
You don’t have to ask her on a date…Just talk to her on a regular basis using your conversation topic list. When smooth conversations become regular maybe get a phone number….On the phone you can actuall have your conversation topic list right in front of you…..Things should progress naturally from here….Good luck….
Be creative and interesting when making your conversation topics..Try to notice things shes into (research it a little so you look like you know what your talking about) and make starter topics about that….Your own ideas work the best…If you have complete writers block use google or yahoo news…..
