I reccomend:
4 defiant elf:1G for a 1/1 trample (he will get stronger and the trample is a good theng)
4 Elvhish Promenade: 1G3colorless,enchantment, put a 1/1 elvish creature token into play for each elf you controlk or something like that.
4 wellwisher: 1G1colorless, 1/1, tap-gain 1 life for each elf you control or each elf in play cant remember, either or it’s still awesome.
4 Elvish warrior (If you want to, I sometimes put them in) 2G, 2/3 (That’s all)
Coat of Arms: Artifact, 5 colorless, (heres an example of what it does: If there are 5 elves in play, they each get +4/+4. If their are 3 goblins in play each goblin gets +2/+2)
It works for both your creatures and your opponents, so hopefully your not vs. anopther creature token deck. The crad I beleive states, Each creature gets +1/+1 for each othwer creature that shares a creature type with it. So say there were I don’t know, 8 soldiers in play, each of those soldiers no matter who was controlling them would get +7/+7
I love coat of arms, it works extremely well for what you want to do, I highly recommend a few of them in your deck, I have five of them lol, But I usually use 3.
Unfortunately I’m having a hard time thinking of my other elves. gzz…
Well anyways, good luck making an elf deck, and if you want to know what I use in my deck and why I use it send me an email at kingcorder@yahoo.com or scottcorder@hotmail.com Preferably scottcorder@hotmail.com
elvish promonade!
my friend made his deck based off elves and he bought alot of lorwyn cards. lorwyn is the best tribal block in the game so far.
That elf that tramples
along with that elf that "tap: +x/+x to target creature where x is amount of elves in play"
and the elf lord
Kamaal, fist of Krosa – gives all your creatures +3/+3 and trample for each five mana.
Priest of Titania – adds 1 Green mana for each elf in play.
Elves that untap creatures
Elves that add life for each elf in play
Here’s some elves to play
Rhys the Exiled (2)(G) 3/2 Whenever it attacks, you gain 1 life for each elf you control
Imperious Perfect (2)(G) 2/2 Other elves you control get +1/+1 (G) tap: Put a 1/1 elf warrior creature token into play
Elvish Promenade (3)(G) Put a 1/1 elf warrior creature token into play for each elf you control
Coat of Arms (5) Each creature gets +1/+1 for each other creature in play that shares the same type as it (elf)
Overrun (2)(G)(G(G) Creature you control get +3/+3 and trample until end of turn.
You pump out the elves while attacking with Rhys to gain life. Once you draw your overrun, the opponent will just concede to your army
Pump up Elvish Vanguard heavily (from the Onslaught) – then use a Mercy Killing on him (Shadowmoor) along side with the mentioned Elvish Promenade (Lorwyn) top it off with Immaculate Magistrate for insane +1 +1 counters (Lorwyn) and Wellwisher for tons of life (Onslaught) – Joraga Warcaller is also a honorably must-have
I would advise you to play with 4-of-a-kind, but that depends on what kind of player you are.
Hope this helped
